The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really going ahead.
